One fine day, an old couple around the age of 70 walks into a lawyer’s office.
Apparently, they are there to file a divorce.
Lawyer was very puzzled, after having a chat with them, he got their story….
This couple had been quarreling throughout their 40 plus years of marriage. Nothing ever seems to go right.
A farmer had some puppies he needed to sell. He painted a sign advertising the 4 pups, and set about nailing it to a post on the edge of his yard.
As he was driving the last nail into the post, he felt tug on his overalls.
He looked down into the eyes of a little boy.
When I was a freshman in high school, I saw a kid from my class walking home from school. His name was Kyle. He looked as if he was carrying all his books.
I thought to myself, “Why would anyone bring home all his books on a Friday? He must be a nerd.”
I had quite a weekend planned ahead (parties and a football game with my friends) so I shrugged my shoulders and went on.
A boy was born to a couple after eleven years of marriage. They were a loving couple and the boy was the apple of their eyes. When the boy was around two years old, one morning the husband saw a medicine bottle open. He was late for work so he asked the wife to cap the bottle and keep it in the cupboard. The mother, preoccupied in the kitchen, totally forgot the matter.

One day, a poor boy who was selling goods from door to door to pay his way through school, found he had only one thin dime left, and he was hungry. He decided he would ask for a meal at the next house. However, he lost his nerve when a lovely young woman opened the door. Instead of a meal he asked for a drink of water. She thought he looked hungry so brought him a large glass of milk. He drank it slowly, and then asked, “How much do I owe you?” “You don’t owe me anything,” she replied. “Mother has taught us never to accept pay for a kindness.” He said, “Then I thank you from my heart.”As Howard Kelly left that house, he not only felt stronger physically, but his faith in God and man was strong also. He had been ready to give up and quit.
One day a farmer’s donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway; it just wasn’t worth it to retrieve the donkey.
Husband comes home drunk and breaks some crockery, vomits and falls down on the floor…
Wife pulls him up and cleans everything. Next day when he gets up he expects her to be really angry with him….
He prays that they should not have a fight..
